Airstream Belly Pan Replacement

Once we got most of the new subflooring in, it was time to replace the belly pan. We found the perfect material at Metal Supermarkets in Birmingham, AL. We recommend 5052 sheet aluminum, .032 thickness (or comparable). We purchased a sheet measuring 106” x 6', and we then cut it to fit the area needed. We kept the existing banana wrap and riveted the new pan to the inside of the banana wrap, enough to cover the damaged areas. See photos below.
